Get Ember on Android
Ember is in closed beta on Google Play, so the listing only shows up for people on our tester list. Getting on it takes two quick steps — about a minute, start to finish.

Step 1
Join the tester group
Open the Ember users group and tap Join group. Being a member is what tells Google Play you’re one of our testers.
Use the same Google account that’s signed in to the Play Store on your phone — otherwise the app won’t show up in step 2.

Step 2
Install from Google Play
Once you’ve joined, open Ember on the Play Store and install it like any other app. Updates arrive automatically through Play from then on.
Play Store says the app isn’t available?
- Give it a few minutes after joining the group, then reopen the Play Store link. Google can take a moment to update the tester list.
- Check the Play Store is signed in with the same Google account you used to join the group. If you have more than one account on your phone, switch to that one.
- Still stuck? Email support@usecowrie.app with the Google account you joined with and we’ll sort it out.
On iPhone? Join the TestFlight beta instead.
